These clocks were invaluable during Covid when Ma frequently asked about the time and day. They are especially helpful for individuals with mild dementia and the elderly in keeping track of days, times, and appointments.
The clocks that I bought did not come with a battery however I purchased the 2nd one with the battery - the reason for this is that it HELPS for automatically resetting for daylight savings so you don't need to depend on anyone to try and change it for you.
There are also some that you can plug in and it now has automatic daylight savings - check the descriptions to make sure.
Overall, these clocks worked well for about a year, helping my mother remember her bus & mass schedule. As her condition worsened, it became an effective alarm clock. I highly recommend purchasing it for the best benefit. There are a lot of brands on Amazon - these are the ones I purchased but most of the will work the same.
AINFTIME Digital Clock with Date and Day of Week. 12 Alarms can be set.
Comes in 7 or 10 inch. Got old style clock interface which some do not have. Look for one that has DST . Especially if you are caring from afar and don't have anyone to change the time for you.

Robin Clock 2024 with Day and Date. Came in loads of colours! I actually purchased this for one of my friends that doesn't have dementia and she loves it. Comes in 8, 12 or 15 inch.

Véfaîî - This is one of the first products I purchased, although the version I initially bought didn't include Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustments. I appreciate how these companies listen to feedback and make improvements. I then purchased the one that does have DST function and that has been been incredibly helpful for managing time changes.

Geemarc Radio Controlled Digital Calendar Clock
Another one that automatically updates for summer/winter. This is more of a practical clock and good to use before transitioning to any of the above (if you chose to)
Â
Geemarc Clock - another Geemarc make.
Again several languages here and that was ideal for Mama. And again, adjusts for summer/winter time. Pricy though but sometimes those with dementia revert back to old school and can't differentiated numbers so the old style clock worked well.
