My experience comes from caring for a loved one with dementia from halfway across the world for more than 7 years. Whilst they lived in the UK, I continued to live and work abroad, including in the United States.
Like many families, my goal was to help my loved one remain at home for as long as possible whilst staying safe, independent, and connected to the life they knew. I also knew there would come a point where at home care might no longer be enough, so I spent years researching, planning, and preparing for that transition too.
When I started this journey, I found very little support for people caring from a distance. Most advice assumed you could simply move closer, stop working, or become a full-time caregiver. For many of us, that's just not realistic.
Over the years, I developed practical systems, checklists, and solutions to help manage the day-to-day challenges of dementia care from afar. These covered everything from organising medical appointments and coordinating carers to preparing for emergencies, hospital stays, respite care, and eventually care home placement.
Today, I share those resources with other families. Through practical guides, downloadable checklists, planning tools, and one-to-one support, I help caregivers navigate the many decisions that come with supporting an ageing loved one.
Everything I offer is based on real experience, lessons learned, mistakes made, and solutions that worked. My goal is simple: to help make an overwhelming journey feel a little more manageable.

My Story
There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to dementia care or caring for a loved one. It's hard enough being next door, but many of us live far from our loved ones and struggle to care for them. Whether you're in another city or another country, the service plans I offer can be tailored to meet your unique needs and circumstances. Through personalised consultations, we will work together to develop strategies that specifically address your situation, ensuring you receive the support and guidance necessary to care for your loved one(s) effectively.
My expertise comes from caring for my loved one, who lives in the UK, whilst I traveled for work. All services are based on my personal experience. I have also researched various "what if" scenarios to be better prepared for the unexpected.
As anyone who cares for a loved one with dementia knows—there are no constants, only inconsistencies.
Each of the services below will guide you to a questionnaire form. This will help me get to know you better. Once filled in, the care plans can be more precisely tailored to your needs. I look at all available options and share what I, as well as others I’ve helped, have found useful.
A consultation is designed to address the details specific to your situation and determine the best options for you.
This is a difficult journey, and I understand how challenging and emotional it can be to care for a loved one. We are all doing an incredible job, and it's okay to ask for help when you need it. I'm here to help!
IMPORTANT: The forms you fill out do not request any personal information that could put your privacy or security at risk. Only non-sensitive details are collected. Once we’ve established that I can create a personalised care plan or offer a one-on-one consultation, I will send you an invoice for payment. Please feel free to contact me using the information above if you have any questions.
