Plates, Cups and Kitchen Accessories
At some point I realised that Mama could not "see" white plates or cups. She had trouble seeing food too as they "blended" with the white background of the plate (potatoes, pasta, etc.). after a lot of research I found that the best colour of plates/cups for people with dementia are solid bright colors such as red, blue or yellow.

These create a strong contrast with the food and our table, making it easier for a PWD to see what they are eating. (I preferred blue and yellow as there are not too many foods (if any) that are this colour which would blend with the plate)
