VIDEO PORTALS
As mentioned, there are always challenges along the way. At some point my Mama needed to "see" me. I had seen her through cameras for years and it was now giving her comfort to know she could see me. She was not technical in any way and I tried several to see which would work. Tried FB, Google but Alexa Echo Portals seemed to be a constant - this has a fantastic "drop-in" feature that help when your loved one cannot "answer" the video call. That alone has been a life saver for the past 3 years!
